INGREDIENTS:
- Potatoes, 4-5 boiled
- Tomatoes, 2
- Cumin seeds, 1/4 tspn
- Green chillies, 2 slit half
- Curry leaves, 3-4
- Turmeric, 1/4 tspn
- Red chilli powder, 1/2 tspn
- Coriander powder, 1/2 tspn
- Garam masala powder, 1/2 tspn
- Salt, as per taste
- Curd, 1 tblspn (optional)
- Oil, 1/2 tblspn
- Coriander leaves, to garnish
- Few Mint leaves
RECIPE:
- Mash boiled potatoes, keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, when it splutters add curry leaves, slit green chillies. Stir.
- Add tomatoes. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder. Stir well.
- Fry till it becomes tender.
- Add mashed potatoes.
- Serve it with puri or roti.
TIPS:
- If you are not adding curd, add little amchur powder for little sour taste.
- If your curd is too sour, add little sugar to balance the taste.
- It is usually served with puri, but it was too heavy for my stomach so I made roti's.
